Privacy notice

How information is handled when you visit our website, contact us or book a call.

Who we are

Method & Logic Systems LLC operates methodandlogicsystems.com. This notice covers the website and initial inquiries. Information handling for paid work is agreed separately as part of the engagement.

For privacy questions, contact Adam at hello@methodandlogicsystems.com.

When you contact us

If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include. We use it to respond, understand your request and discuss whether our services are a fit. Business email and working records are handled through our Google Workspace account.

Please keep initial inquiries brief. Do not send passwords, payment details, customer or employee records, health information, trade secrets or other sensitive or regulated information.

When you book a call

Booking is handled by Calendly. Our booking link opens Calendly when you select “Choose a time on Calendly.” The form asks for your name, email address and a short description of what you would like help with. A question about your current tools is optional. We receive your booking details and answers to arrange and prepare for the conversation.

Calendly handles scheduling, and Google Meet supports the call. Calendly also processes information about use of its own service; see Calendly’s privacy notice. Booking a call does not create a client relationship or authorize work.

AI assistance with inquiries

We may use summaries of your inquiry or booking answers in ChatGPT Work (OpenAI), Claude Cowork (Anthropic) and Gemini (Google) to help prepare for your call, organize your request or draft a response. We use Gemini through our Method & Logic Google Workspace account.

We limit those summaries to what the task needs and leave out identifying or sensitive details when they are unnecessary. Summaries can still contain personal information. Adam reviews AI-assisted work and makes the decisions about your inquiry.

How long we keep inquiry information

If an inquiry does not become a client engagement, we schedule its emails, booking answers and related notes for deletion 12 months after our last meaningful contact. We review due records monthly and complete deletion within 30 days of the due date.

We remove AI working copies under our control when the task is complete, no later than 30 days after each copy is created. Any necessary reviewed result kept with your inquiry follows the inquiry retention period above. Providers may retain some information longer under their own backup, security or legal requirements.

We may keep the minimum necessary information longer for an agreed future follow-up, an active dispute or a legal obligation. Records for paid client work and accounting follow separate requirements.

Website analytics

If you choose to allow analytics, we use Umami Cloud to understand how the website is used. Analytics is off until you opt in. Its reports include pages visited, referral sources, browser and device information, approximate location and selected actions, such as clicking a booking or email link and opening the booking scheduler.

Umami states that its tracking code does not use cookies. It uses the visitor’s IP address to derive location information without storing the IP address. Learn more in Umami’s FAQ and metric definitions.

The example tools on our homepage run in your browser using invented information. What you select in them is not sent to us.

Cookies and your privacy choice

Our analytics does not use tracking cookies. We store your analytics choice in your browser’s local storage so we can remember it on this site. This preference is not used to track you. If you decline, the site and its booking links still work.

You can allow or turn off analytics using Privacy choices in the footer. Turning it off stops future analytics collection; it does not remove information already sent. Your choice applies to this browser on this site until you change it or clear browser storage. If your browser cannot save the choice, it applies only to the current page.

We also keep analytics off when your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track. Calendly runs as its own service, when you follow a booking link, and manages its own cookies and privacy choices; your choice here does not control Calendly.

Services that help run the website

Netlify hosts the website and processes the technical information needed to deliver pages and operate its hosting service. Umami provides website analytics; Calendly provides scheduling; Google Workspace supports business email, records and calls. OpenAI, Anthropic and Google may also process the inquiry summaries described above.

These providers have their own terms and data-handling practices. Their privacy information is available from Netlify, Umami, Calendly and Google.

Questions and requests

You can contact us to ask about information you have supplied, request a correction or ask for its deletion. Email hello@methodandlogicsystems.com with a brief description of your request. Please do not include sensitive documents in the initial message.
